We will honor one winner from
each category at the 2006 Book 'Em Event on Saturday, October
14, 2006. You do not have to be present to win. Each winner's
submission will also be published on the Book 'Em website. There
will also be prizes for each winner.
Contest Guidelines:
The Book 'Em Foundation will
only consider original fiction written by children between the ages of 6-17. Entries of all genres are accepted.
Your age as of July 1, 2006 will determine which age category
you are in. Attach the entry form to your story, but DO NOT put
your name on your story. Only identify yourself on the entry
form. All stories will be coded and the entry forms removed so
the entrants can not be identified by the judges.
