We will honor one winner from each category at the 2007 Book 'Em Event on Saturday, October 20, 2007. There will be prizes for each winner.

Contest Guidelines:

Book ‘Em will only consider original fiction written by students between the grades of 1 to 12.  Entries of all genres are accepted.  Your grade in school year 2007/2008 is what category each entrant will be in. Attach the entry form to your story, but DO NOT put your name on your story.  Only identify yourself on the entry form.  All stories will be coded and the entry forms removed so the entrants can not be identified by the judges. There is no minimum amount of words per story, but the maximum length for all categories is 2,500.

There will be 6 categories, grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12.

This is a FREE contest. There is no limit to the number of submissions.
