Proceeds used for increasing literacy rates, decreasing crime, and helping police solve unsolved crimes 

The 3rd Annual Book 'Em Event to be be held outside of Waynesboro, Virginia will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 in Lebanon, New Hampshire.  If you are an author and are interested in attending, please let us know.  The Author Registration form can be found on the menu to the left.  Proceeds from this unique event will be used to help fund current and future literacy programs.  

This ground-breaking Book Fair highlighting the connection between illiteracy and high crime rates features dozens of authors  who will be signing their books and giving talks on writing, the publishing industry, and other topics of interest throughout the day.

Jodi Picoult is a NY Times best selling author who attended Book’ Em in 2007. We hope you had a chance to stop by to say hello to the author of the best selling book Nineteen Minutes, among many others.

Lebanon, New Hampshire is located on the eastern side of the state very close to the border with Vermont.

Dartmouth college is located just 5 miles away from Lebanon, High School.

There is plenty of free parking located near the front entrance to the school for both private vehicles and buses.

The book fair will take place in the gym.  Authors will be set up with 2 authors per table, spread throughout the gym.

The cafeteria will be transformed into the food court area where several food vendors will be on hand.

The Cashier area will be located outside of the gymnasium, close to where the food court will be.

There is ample room just inside the front entrance where greeters will be located to direct you to the gym where the authors will be set up and to answer any questions you may have about the event.
